How your data is kept safe

Your resume includes identity, career history, and contact details, so security is not optional. This guide covers the practical controls we use and what you can do on your side to stay protected.

Encryption in transit

All data sent between your browser and our servers is encrypted in transit using HTTPS/TLS.

Account access controls

• Existing accounts use branded magic links sent to your email address.
• Magic links use a token/hash callback before a session opens.
• When you start from a template, or enter your email in the editor for AI or preview, a new address gets an account and signs that browser in without a link.
• A new address on the upgrade screen gets an account when you start checkout; on successful return from PayPal, we sign that browser in.
• Keep your mailbox secure and do not forward or share a sign-in link. If you think someone else has used a link or reached your account, write to hello@jobapply.io.

Your document data

Resume and cover letter content is stored to provide the service, including editing, preview, and export. Contact support if you need help with account or data questions.

Third-party providers

We use a small number of infrastructure, email, analytics, AI and payment providers. Each provider processes personal data under its own standard data-processing terms. We do not sell your data. The Privacy Policy lists every provider, what it receives, and where it processes it.
