How your data is kept safe
Understand the concrete controls used to protect accounts and document data.
Your resume includes identity, career history, and contact details, so security is not optional. This guide covers the practical controls we use and what you can do on your side to stay protected.
Encryption in transit
All data sent between your browser and our servers is encrypted using HTTPS/TLS. This means your content cannot be read by anyone intercepting the connection.
Account access controls
- Passwords are stored as secure hashes — we do not store your password in plain text.
- Access to your account requires your email and password or your connected social login.
- Sessions expire after a period of inactivity.
Your document data
Resume and cover letter content is stored in our database and is not accessed by staff except to investigate specific support requests you initiate. We do not read, index, or use your document content for any purpose other than providing the service.
Third-party providers
We use a small number of trusted infrastructure and payment providers. They are contractually required to protect your data and use it only for the purpose we specify. We do not sell your data.
