Career assessment basics
General career guidance on assessment methods, not a Jobapply product feature.

Jobapply does not currently provide a career-assessment tool. This article is general editorial guidance about how career assessment can support job-search decisions.
Why it is useful
Most people have a rough sense of what they are good at but rarely articulate it clearly. Career assessment forces that articulation. The output gives you something concrete to reference when making decisions about roles, industries, or learning priorities.
What it is not
Career assessment does not predict success in any specific role. It does not replace market research, practical experience, or conversations with people in roles you are considering. Think of it as one useful data point rather than a complete answer.
When to use it
- Early in a job search when you are unsure which direction to go.
- When considering a career change and wanting to evaluate fit before investing time.
- When you want a structured way to explain your strengths to others (interviews, conversations).
